I'm Musstafa — a director, cinematographer, and editor. I've been doing this since 2011, and it's still the only thing I want to be doing.

The industry has shifted. Brands don't need more content. They need fewer films that mean something. Work that holds its weight a year later, not a week. That's the part of the conversation I want to be in.

I've worked with a wide range of people, brands, and companies — across formats, scales, and industries. The work usually leads to more work. That's the part I'm proud of.

The journey

• 2011 Picked up a camera. Haven't put it down since.
• 2015 Started Markabi Media — what would later become markabi.
• 2018 Went full-time. No more side project.
• 2020 Moved to Copenhagen. First international clients.
• 2022 Co-founded a marketing agency as creative director.
• 2023 Left the agency. Rebranded as markabi.
• 2026 Left Denmark. Came home with renewed energy.

The network

The film is one piece.

I make the film. But I think about where it lands, how it travels, and what surrounds it. When the brief calls for it, I work alongside people who handle the rest.
